Shahriar E. Broumand,
Chief Commercial Officer, ProSolutions Inc.
Shahriar E. Broumand is Chief Commercial Officer of ProSolutions Inc., a medical technology company that includes the ProAdjuster technology system for Wellness and chiropractic medicine and ProSoft software for medical documentation and billing. Since joining the company in 2007, Mr. Broumand has successfully transitioned the Sales and Marketing organizations to a high volume, fast paced business development organization that continues to grow in double digits. In charge of the overall expansion program, Mr. Broumand oversees the transformation of a successful start-up to a global medical technology company that drives change and better results through the use of technology in a 110 year old profession.
Before joining ProSolutions, Mr. Broumand served as Vice President and General Manager of Ariba Inc., leading the Managed Procurement Services business globally. While at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets Inc.) for 9 years, Mr. Broumand held several key executive roles, including leading the development and delivery of the company’s business process outsourcing offerings, General Manager of the European Commercial Operations including the Consulting and Sourcing Program Management businesses, and serving as Director and General Manager of FreeMarkets Northern Region in EMEA, with responsibility for managing FreeMarkets’ UK and Scandinavia business.
Prior to joining FreeMarkets, Mr. Broumand was employed at Sweeney International, a Miami based consulting firm formerly part of WPP, where he served as business development manager for its Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions from1995 through 1999. While at Sweeney, Broumand led the sales organization and specialized in consulting studies for pricing, distribution, brand equity, and customer satisfaction, serving a range of Global 1000 clients in the automotive, financial services, and high-tech business sectors. Mr. Broumand was also employed at General Motors in Luxembourg for its EFDA Championship Management division serving in various marketing and strategy roles assisting the managing director.
Mr. Broumand attended Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, California; and furthered his education with degrees in business administration and business information systems from Swiss-based European University.
